Tet VietBay
Our team participated in the annual Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration in Mountain View. There, we showcased our robot, providing demonstrations and explanations of its construction process. Our aim was to inspire and encourage children to engage in STEM activities. We also sought to recruit new members for the upcoming year. To support our initiatives, we sold Valentine’s cards, greeting cards, and canvas bags.
Additionally, we encouraged VietBay members to donate to STEAM for Vietnam, an organization dedicated to establishing STEAM hubs for children with disabilities in Vietnam. Our team members actively participated in various games to win prizes for fundraising purposes. Through these combined efforts, we raised $580 during the event and successfully promoted our robotics club within the VietBay community.
